What are commonly used concrete admixtures?

According to (GB8075-87) classification, concrete admixture according to its main function can be divided into four categories:
1, improve concrete mixing logistics variable performance admixture: including all kinds of water reduction liu, air entraining agent and pumping agent.
2, adjust the concrete setting time, hardening performance admixtures: including retarder, early strength agent, accelerating agent, etc..
3, improve concrete durability admixtures: including air entrainment agent, waterproof agent, and rust inhibitor.
4, improve other performance of concrete admixtures: including air entrainment agent, expansion agent, antifreeze, colorant, waterproof agent and pumping agent.


According to the naming and definition of (GB8075-87) admixture, admixture can be divided into 16 names, their respective definitions are as follows:
1, ordinary water reducing agent: in the concrete collapse degree of the basic same conditions, can reduce the mixing water admixture;
2, early strength agent: accelerate the development of concrete early strength admixture;
3, retarder: prolong the concrete setting time admixture;
4, air entraining agent: in the process of mixing concrete can introduce a large number of evenly distributed, stable and closed small bubble admixture;
5, high efficiency water reducing agent: in the concrete collapse under the same basic conditions, can greatly reduce the mixture of water admixture;
6, early strength water reducing agent: both early strength and water reducing function of water reducing agent;
7, retarding water reducing agent: both retarding and water reducing function of water reducing agent;
8, air entraining water reducing agent: both air entraining and water reducing admixtures;
9, waterproof agent: can reduce concrete in hydrostatic pressure of water permeability admixture;
10, rust inhibitor: can inhibit or reduce concrete reinforcement or other embedded metal corrosion additives;
11, aerating agent: concrete preparation process due to the occurrence of chemical reaction to release gas, can make the concrete to form a large number of pores admixture;
12, expansion agent: can make concrete volume produce a certain expansion admixture;
13, antifreeze: can make concrete hardening under negative temperature, and in the specified time to achieve enough antifreeze strength admixture;
14, colorant: can prepare with stable color concrete admixture;
15, accelerating agent: can make concrete quickly hardening admixture;
16, pumping agent: can improve the pumping performance of concrete mixture admixture.
