On December 7, 2019, the 2019 China Concrete and Cement Product Industry Conference was grandly held in Nanjing International Expo Center. The conference was hosted by China Concrete and Cement Products Association and co-organized by Suzhou Concrete and Cement Products Research Institute. Nearly 1,800 representatives from the entire industrial chain of the national concrete and cement products industry gathered together to discuss industry events. The theme of the conference was “Transforming Green, Moving to the High-end, and Entering a New Era of High-quality Development”. 

Concrete and cement products are the largest and most important construction engineering materials which serve engineering construction in all industries such as construction, water conservancy, highways, railways, bridges, port engineering, and mining. The industry scale ranks first among 32 construction materials industries. In the first three quarters of 2019, China's concrete and cement products industry enterprises above the designated size achieved main business income of 1.13 trillion yuan (excluding the part included in the construction industry), an increase of 24.6% year-on-year; total profit of 53.325 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase 32.09%, has formed a complete concrete and cement products industrial system with Chinese characteristics. China's concrete and cement product materials and engineering technology support the innovation and development of major national engineering constructions. Many materials and engineering technology innovations have reached international advanced levels and have become an integral part of the "China-built" world brand. 

In 2019, the international situation is changing and unstabilizing factors are increasing; the domestic macro economy is under pressure and the growth of the substantial economy is sluggish; under the multiple pressures of homogeneous competition and rising materials, the competitions among the concrete and cement products industries become fiercer. At the same time, we also see that with the accelerated implementation of major strategies such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the "Belt and Road", a number of major infrastructure constructions such as high-speed rail and airports have been accelerated. With the acceleration of the new round of industrial revolutions such as green smart manufacturing, 5G era, and 3D printing, China's concrete and cement products industry is also facing new development opportunities and entering a new era of development.

the technology innovation platforms of China's concrete and cement products industry, and 
the concrete and cement products enterprises with credit rating above AA in 2019
